Porphyroclastic texture   This large grain is a K-feldspar porphyroclast. Unlike porphyroblasts, porphyroclasts are not grown in-situ, but rather are fragments of pre-existing minerals which were broken up during the process of metamorphism.		UNC sample MT-34
